Our client is the corporate services department of a prestigious law firm operating in nine juridictions and offering legals and corporates advices and services.
As a team leader, you will be responsible for the management of a team in charge of a client portfolio of our growing Luxembourg office delivering administration, accounting and tax services, specialising in Private Equity, Real Estate and other investment vehicles.
In this role you will:

Guarantee all operational aspects of your team
Be in charge of the coordination and validation process for work delivered by the team
Actively be involved in internal projects (e.g. organisational improvements, training, and technical improvements)
Be responsible towards your clients in the implementation and administration of their Luxembourg investment vehicles including real estate and private equity SPVs, Securitization Vehicles, IP companies and Holding companies
Be a key element in the process streamlining and planification of our client’s operations
Coordinate and/or manage the day-to-day operations handling of companies by our client team and responding to clients’ requests
Review the periodic legal, regulatory and clients reporting
Review the statutory financial statements and liaising with auditors when applicable
Review the corporate and VAT return preparation by our client team and maintaining relevant contact with the Luxembourg tax authorities and tax advisers
Take part in developing restructuring plans or other transactions in compliance with recommendations of the local regulatory body, including spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions
Managing the organisation of board meetings and shareholders meetings
Driven individual with strong leadership and coaching skills who is committed to achieving excellence for themselves, their clients and their team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience working in an accounting or professional services role. Experience within the private equity, venture capital, real estate, other asset management or a fund administration industry is strongly preferred.
To hold a master's degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance or Economics. IFRS knowledge is required and a full accounting qualification is desirable, though not essential.
